How Long Does It Take to Recover from Laser Eye Surgery?

Patients who have laser eye surgery performed often ask, before and after the procedure, about recovery time. We are always hearing, how long does it take to recover from laser eye surgery? This is a question we never get tired of answering. The fact of the matter is that when a patient asks about recovery time, we have the opportunity to stress not to rush the process.

Normal Laser Eye Surgery Recovery Time

In the most basic sense, it can take eyes as little as a day or two to start seeing positive impacts on vision after a laser eye surgery. However, we stress to all patients every time that their eyes are their own, and they may not act as the standard set of eyes would. We say that giving them a week’s time to recover is appropriate. Do not feel rushed, and realistically, you should expect a week at minimum for your recovery time.
